infoWERK wins new customer VALLJET for Pilot Training

infoWERK is exited to welcome our newest customer, the French company VallJet to our service family. We've just reached an agreement with them to be their training solution provider for Flight Operations Recurrent and Type Training.

VallJet was founded in 2008 with the ambition to make means of transportation accessible to a large number of entrepreneurs offering more flexibility, more productivity and more speed. During the last years, Valljet has now become one of the most important European business aviation companies. Their fleet consists of more than 30 aircraft with 5 to 50 seats based mainly in Paris, but also in Lyon, Valence, Lille and Nice.

infoWERK provides the eLearning courses via a customized learning portal (LMS) with integrated Virtual Classroom technology. The portal is also connected via a programming interface to another supplier of VallJet that has developed a software solution for the autonomous optimisation of flight operations for airlines and business jet operators.

The Virtual Classroom technology is an integrated software package. As an additional part of the infoWERK LMS it can be activated with a single mouse click and enables collaborative meetings and training sessions. The system includes functionalities such as document or desktop sharing and offers three different interface views:

• Lecture: where the lecturer is presented in the main screen and holds an online lecture
• Desktop: where the lecturer shares his/her desktop with the meeting participants
• Conference: where all meeting partners are equally presented and talk with each other

Regarding the supplied eLearning content for VallJet, the Flight Operations Recurrent Training Package encompasses new and cutting-edge courses such as Route Competence Training (available for 12 areas or as a package world-wide), Winter Operations Training (annually updated according to AEA recommendations), Dangerous Goods (according to IATA regulations), Hot Weather and High Altitude Operations and many more. Our training programs undergo regular updates to ensure that pilots are acquainted with the latest operational requirements.
