Course Description
This basic maintenance course is designed to provide a fundamental understanding of electrics. Beginning with the electron theory and the different sources of electricity, important laws and components in simple electrical circuits. Covering the principals of power, work and energy. The generation, regulation and storage in the different types of batteries, operation and construction of AC and DC motors, as well as the distribution in aircraft systems being addressed. Completing the course with topics on emergency power generation, circuit protection and typical aircraft electrical components. The course concludes with a comprehensive multiple-choice questionnaire allowing the participant to test his acquired knowledge.
