Course Description

This course provides an introduction to turbine engine maintenance. It begins with an overview of turbine engines and compares different engine designs. The course covers various types of turbine engines, including turbojet, turbofan, turboprop, and turboshaft engines.

It also includes chapters on engine construction and air inlet ducts. The course explores the combustion section, engine indication, and fire detection and extinguishing systems. Additionally, it addresses turbofan cowlings, mounts, and seals concluding with a final check at the end of the training.
