Course Description

The course was developed to train individuals involved in the assembly, replacement, handling, repair and testing of electrical components about the risks and avoidance of Electrostatic Discharge (ESD). The ESD training is based on EASA AMC 20-23-EWIS, FAA AC 43-206-Chapter 9, ATA Spec. 300-Chapter 6. The course is intended for technical staff involved in maintenance and inspection activities on ESD sensitive components which requires ESD awareness.

By the end of this course, the individuals will be able to handle Electrostatic Discharge Sensitive equipment appropriately and they are able to effectively manage Electrostatic Discharge Sensitive components and devices in an Aircraft technical Environment.
