Course Description

The course provides a comprehensive understanding of piston engine operation and configuration. It covers key systems such as fuel, carburettor-injection, exhaust, air cooling, and lubrication. The course also explores starting and ignition circuits, as well as mixture control.

In addition, it examines piston engine performance and efficiency, along with factors that affect engine power. There is a focus on engine indicating and handling. To ensure progress, the course includes a progress check for piston engines.
