Course Description

This web-based training provides in-depth knowledge of Fuel Tank Safety Level 2, focusing on measures to prevent fuel tank explosions. Designed for (licensed) aircraft maintenance personnel, it meets the requirements of EASA Decision No. 2009/006/R and 007/R.

 

The course covers the historical background, legal framework, and technical aspects of fuel tank safety, including ignition source prevention and compliance with SFAR 88. Building on Level 1 topics, this training enhances understanding of key safety principles and equips participants with the necessary skills to identify and manage fuel tank safety risks effectively.
