Course Description
The Winter Operations Training for Maintenance Personnel was designed specifically to meet the needs of aircraft engineers dealing with de-/anti-icing procedures in their ever-day work. The course is based on the SAE Training and Qualification Program for Deicing/Anti-icing of Aircraft on the Ground issued 2021/06 (AS6286) and EASA SIB No.: 2018-12.
In this online course students gain essential knowledge on aircraft de-icing and anti-icing procedures, following AEA recommendations and industry standards. Participants will learn about regulations, the clean aircraft concept, fluid types, contamination checks, and equipment use. The course covers best practices for handling frozen deposits, applying anti-icing fluids, and ensuring aircraft airworthiness in winter conditions.
