Course Description
The Winter Operations Recurrent Training for Cabin Crew was designed specifically to meet the needs of Cabin crew dealing with de-/anti-icing procedures in their ever-day work. The course is based on the SAE Training and Qualification Program for Deicing/Anti-icing of Aircraft on the Ground issued 2021/06 (AS6286) and EASA SIB No.: 2018-12.
It covers the clean aircraft concept, the impact of frozen contamination on performance, meteorological factors in ice formation, and critical surfaces for different aircraft types. The course also provides an overview of icing terminology and various contaminants like slush, frost, rime ice, clear ice, snow, and sleet.
