Course Description
This Upside Prevention Recovery (UPRT) course is designed to help reduce accidents caused by loss of control in large, swept wing airplanes. The course aims to increase the pilot’s ability to recognize and avoid situations that lead to airplane upsets and improve their ability to recover control of an airplane that has exceeded the normal flight regime.
This is accomplished through increasing awareness of potential upset situations, knowledge of flight dynamics, and application of this knowledge during simulator training scenarios. The online course fulfills the requirements of (EU) 2018/1974 and Annex I to ED Decision 2019/005/R.
