Course Description
This course is part of the Basic Instrument Rating (BIR) training program, developed in accordance with AMC1 FCL.615(b) IR - Theoretical Knowledge and Flight Instruction. It is specifically designed to meet the practical needs of General Aviation Pilots, ensuring they gain the necessary skills to perform safe and precise instrument approach procedures. As one of three modular training components, this course focuses on understanding and executing instrument approaches, a critical aspect of flying under Instrument Flight Rules (IFR).
The BIR training is flexible and modular, allowing pilots to progress at their own pace based on demonstrated skills rather than fixed hours. This ensures efficient learning, accommodating individual needs while focusing on real-world instrument approach proficiency and safe IFR operations.
