Enhanced Vision System (EVS) Training

Course Description

The Enhanced Vision Systems use sensing technology to improve the pilot's ability to detect objects which may otherwise not be visible. This Enhanced Vision System (EVS) Training course is especially designed to train the flight crew in this special topic. The course provides an overview of EVS in aviation covering aircraft operations, aerodrome considerations, and EVS equipment.

Participants will learn about low visibility operations, regulatory approval, and operating procedures for various approach categories. In the course also runway certification requirements and the impact of lighting systems on EVS suitability are addressed.
