Course Description
The online course 'Flight Path Management at High Altitude' addresses the required knowledge on Flight Path Management during unreliable airspeed indication and other failures at high altitude. As per AMC1 ORO.FC.120&130, operators above FL300 must integrate such training into their conversion and recurrent training programs.
The goal is to ensure safe and efficient flight operations. Therefore the course covers flight physics principles, automation failures, and handling unreliable airspeed or system malfunctions. Participants will learn to manage Fly-by-Wire (FBW) degradation, execute stall recovery procedures, and ensure safe manual control transitions. The course also emphasizes task sharing and crew coordination in high-stress scenarios, reinforcing effective communication and decision-making to maintain flight safety. Please note: You may apply changes to these course modules to meet your specific operational requirements.
