Flight operations in hot weather and at high altitudes need special consideration as they have a significant influence on your day to day operation. Take-off and landing performance heavily depend on temperature and altitude. Cruise performance at or near the optimum altitude is also influenced by temperature. The aim of this Hot Weather and High Altitude Operation training is to provide an overview on the performance and operational implications of operating in a hot and high environment.
