Have you heard of the new SAE standards for Winter Operation? Based on these new standards we have just released a brand-new Winter Operations course version! This update includes a freh and sleek design along with a competency-based training approach to take your skills to the next level.

 

The course update includes changes and additional information to meet the requirements of the updated SAE documents AS6285E and AS6286C.

What is special about this course version?

AS6285 forms one part of three related SAE Aerospace Standards (AS) and should be read in conjunction with AS6286 and AS6332. Collectively, AS6285, AS6286, and AS6332 are known to the international community as the “global aircraft deicing standards.”

 

This years revision includes:

  • review and update of the communications section;
  • additional information in fluid related limits and application;
  • additional information about cold dry snow or ice crystals;
  • additional information on infrared deicing;
  • additional information on surface coatings and their effect on de- anti icing fluids.

 

The Winter Operations Training is available, for Flight Crew including Flight Dispatcher, Cabin, Ground as well as Maintenance personal as initial as well as recurrent course.

In addition, the Winter Operations Recurrent Training is also available as Competency Based Course.
