infoWERK’s Virtual Classroom Solution 2.0 allows exactly this mix of in-person and remote training participants through a well-thought-out combination of soft- and hardware (depending on the chosen version and organization’s requirements) in order to plan, conduct and document training sessions.
The focus is set on the presentation of the teaching materials for both training groups, but especially on the simultaneous communication with the students (online and on-site). The system is combined with a Learning Management System and compliant with EASA requirements. The Virtual Classroom is available in three versions
depending on the requirements of the training organisation. The three options differ primarily by the hardware used.
VC Pro
Well-engineered hardware + VC software
If you conduct many long online & attendance training sessions, the VC Pro is the most professional way to manage this hybrid classes. Eextend your regional reach.
VC Basic
Basic hardware + VC software
If you require online training frequently. You as instructor can conduct many and longer online training sessions and/or briefings from home, your office or classroom.
VC Software only
VC software without hardware
If you require online training only occasionally. You as instructor can conduct short online training sessions or/and briefings from home or when travelling.
Specifications
All three options can be:
- Part of the infoWERK LMS or
- Delivered as SCORM package for the integration to other LMS or
- Delivered as stand-alone unit (without any LMS integration)
For each option:
A certain number of Virtual Rooms can be set up. These virtual rooms can be defined to the organisation‘s requirement (Workgroup, Classroom, Lecture).
While Workgroups with less participants will require more possibilities of interactions, a Lecture for a larger number of students will require a straighter forward training process. The pre-defined set up of the virtual room will guarantee this.

System features

- Classes are set in real time with an instructor always on hand throughout the session to answer questions and to introduce new, unscheduled topics to both local and virtual classes.
- Live instruction and online feedback that enables real-time video, audio and text communication, Desktop and Whiteboard sharing and breakout sessions to enhance a student‘s learning experience. This provides students an opportunity to interact with the teacher as well as classmates by oral and written communication.
- Online classrooms providing live, interactive, instructor-led training - with slide import, application sharing, many interactive features such as private and group chatting, handraising and in the VC Pro version also recording and broadcasting options.
- Further useful cooperation features to mention are session summaries, minutes, feedback forms, time & lesson planning incl. calendar intergration.
- Fully interactive, live training sessions from anywhere in the world - using only your computer and an internet connection. From their desktops your students can interact with other students and the instructor in real time. The instructor is able to access and control their multimedia-based training courses within the LMS
- Create an advanced blended learning environment by combining conventional classroom, e-learning and the Virtual Classroom to close existing training gaps.
