Drones / Operation of unmanned aircraft (UAS)
Based on the upcoming EASA regulation laying down rules and procedures for the operation of unmanned aircraft, the initial course includes basic information on topics like Air Law, Communication and Meteorology.
The course is in English language, but audio script and text can be made available in other languages to facilitate the learning process of the student and enhance their knowledge transfer. Additional course content laying down specific rules and procedures for the operation of drones will be added once the new EASA regulation has been released.
The course is currently approved by the Italian Aviation Authority (ENAC) as part of the theoretical training for an EASA qualified Italian ATO.

Runtime:
Is the time for content linear execution, without interruptions, questions etc.
Training Time:
Is the amount of time spent by trainees to go through the content, on a self-paced learning approach, what considers trainees pauses, legend/subtitle reading, content revisions, knowledge mental processing, among other interruptions. Training time is equal the runtime multiplied by a trainee learning factor between 2.0 and 2.5.
