Turkish Onur Air awards infoWERK FOO training contract

Onur Air, a Turkish low cost carrier based at Istanbul Atatürk Airport has selected infoWERK to deliver online FOO training.

Onur Air is using infoWERK’s FOO eLearning courses to satisfy its requirements for flight operations officers recurrent training during the 3 year training cycle.

infoWERK’s proprietary Learning Management System ‚iv-track‘ was selected to deliver the required training and to provide comprehensive reporting facilities. The recurrent courses were set up according to Onur Air‘s requirements. Each course topic also contains an examination at the end of each chapter to verify the learned knowledge.

Onur Air, already founded in 1992 is the pioneer in private airline industry in Turkey. It was the first private airline to start domestic flights after the opening of domestic air transport in Turkey at the private sector in 2003. Due to increasing consumer demand for low cost air transport it continued to develop into a scheduled / non-scheduled flights provider. At the moment Onur Air employs about 1700 personnel and operates 30 aircrafts with a fleet of Airbus family. The company operates to 14 major domestic and more than 120 international destinations in 25 countries.
