We are excited to announce our new collaboration with Bulgarian Compass Cargo Airlines for the delivery of Recurrent Training for their Flight Operations Officers (FOO) training.
After being rebranded and restructured in 2021, Compass Cargo Airlines has been certified as an Air Operator and an EU Community Air Carrier, holding both the AOC and the Operating License under EASA regulations, issued by the Civil Aviation Administration of Bulgaria. Today, their fleet successfully operates throughout Europe, reflecting their strong commitment to growth and operational excellence.
To support this ambition, infoWERK provides specialized Flight Operations Officer (FOO) training tailored to the needs of both new and experienced dispatchers, ensuring Compass Cargo Airlines’ operations continue to meet the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and performance.
In response to the latest EASA Safety Information Bulletin (SIB) 2025-03, the Dangerous Goods eLearning course has been updated to reflect current safety concerns surrounding lithium batteries in passenger baggage.
Lithium batteries pose hazards such as fire, explosion, and thermal runaway, particularly when carried in PEDs, e-scooters, hoverboards, e-cigarettes, and power banks. Poor-quality or damaged batteries may ignite, overwhelming cargo suppression systems, while devices trapped in seats can short-circuit.
To mitigate these threats, crew awareness, consistent enforcement, and clear passenger communication are essential.
