infoWERK lands Air Niugini software contract for DHC-8
Papua New Guinean Air Niugini has chosen infoWERK to provide DHC-8 multimedia-based courseware for its pilots and technicians who require initial and recurrent training.
After an intensive evaluation period the company has decided to permanently improve and upgrade their training curriculum with the given software. infoWERK's training package delivered to Air Niugini includes Pilot and Maintenance Training for the DHC-8 series (DHC-8-400 and -300 and -200) which is all running over a customized company portal.
infoWERK is very proud to have partnered with another Pacific customer. Air Niugini, the national airline of Papua New Guinea was formed in 1973. Being under Australian rule by then the airline first took over Papua New Guinea’s established domestic routes and opened up previously inaccessible areas to locals and tourists. After decades of growth Air Niugini operates today a domestic network from Port Moresby and Lae, as well as international services in Asia, Oceania, and Australia. The Air Niugini fleet consists of Boeing 767 and 737 jets for international routes along with Fokker F-100 aircraft while the Q400 and smaller Dash 8 aircraft for the challenging terrain.
